Q. What do I wear on my first appointment?
A. You will need to wear something loose such as a tracksuit or shorts and t-shirt.

Q. What can I expect on my first sports massage appointment?
A. This will be an hour appointment

Q. How much notice do I need to give to cancel my appointment?
A. Please give at least 24 hours notice should you need to cancel an appointment.

Q. How many treatments will I need?
A. This depends on how long you have had the problem. Also how severe it is. If you have a sedentary job and just want a few niggles sorting out, it could take just a couple of sessions. If you are training for a specific sport, then maybe 4 to 6 sessions depending on the severity of your problem.

Q. I'm not a sports person, but I have aches and pains I'd like to sort out? Is sports massage suitable for me?
A. Yes, sports massage can target your specific aches and pains that may blight your day to day life.

Q. For a sports massage how much will the initial assessment and massage cost?

Q. Do I need to be an athlete to have a sports massage?
A. No, you don't, have to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage. Sports massage is also good for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion.

Q. What happens during a sports massage?
A. Your therapist will ask you some questions about your general health and your specific issues. A postural assessment will be done to gauge the extent of the problem. He/she will then put a personalised plan together and perform the massage to suit your exact needs

Q. Are there any circumstances that would prevent me from having a pregnancy massage?
A. Some conditions may prevent massage during pregnancy. Please call to talk to a therapist.
