Pulled or tight/restricted muscles

Muscles are made up of many fibres that interlock when needed to give us the strength we associate with muscles. When these muscles are used repeatedly, for example when you are doing the same sport on a regular basis, they can become tight. If this situation is allowed to remain then you are more prone to injury. Also, if the muscles are restricted then you may find you are unable to perform particular movements as well as you once could.
